Role Responsibilities:

Project Management

·       Project team management: leading project teams, organize meeting and follow up action items.

·       Develop budget, time and resource plans based on technical requirement, battery energy storage project scope and potential interdependencies.

·       Prepare project documents Project Plans, Installation Method Statements, Schedule, and proposals.

·       Develop project-specific risk management plans, lead stakeholder engagement strategies and secure the commitment of critical stakeholders to projects.

·       Conducting project reviews and clarification meetings and managing relationships with customers and stakeholders.

·       Take ownership of development process.

·       Weekly report to management to review the progress and performance of projects and recommend actions for improvement.

Project(s)

·       Identify and develop renewable energy microgrid regionally.

·       Develop a detailed project plan, and work breakdown structure to monitor and track progress and identify critical project milestones and path activities.

·       Lead Microgrid/Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project execution & operations.

·       Work with backend Microgrid design & engineering team from design to deployment projects.

·       Coordinate and engage internal resources and local construction, installation & commissioning vendors to adopt new and reliable project execution methodologies to ensure project risk mitigation and within resource project execution.

·       Ensure BESS design and deployment compliance standards are met.

·       Work with local BD & sales team to address customer queries and concerns up to the extent possible.

·       Travel for in person meetings with sales team/management to address customer queries and concerns regarding the technology & engineering of the Microgrid.

·       Co-ordinate with Governments and/or Private Organizations /Authorities to ensure smooth Project execution.

Requirements:

·       Master or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 4-5 years of power supply related experiences and at least 5 years of experience in leading project teams.

·       Experience in power supply/microgrid application/energy storage projects in a manufacturing environment.

·       With solid understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems, Switch Mode Power Supply, AC/DC converters and power factor correction.

·       Understand the importance of product reliability and performance tests.

·       Proven track records in managing multiple projects and completion within timeline and budget.

·       Project Management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner will be a plus.

·       Good communication and moderation skills to align between functional teams.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our team. Requirements:

Role Responsibilities:

·       Actively engage different stakeholders in key accounts to gather, analyse and develop Techno Commercial proposals for review and customer approval.

·       Run collaborative exercises with customers and inside technical leads to capture all functional and implementation requirements for Project opportunities.

·       Help senior team members prepare strategic roadmaps and business cases for clients.

·       Support Team to develop creative technical advisory solutions tailored to Project’s bespoke requirements.

·       To analyse technical specifications and develop concept drawings, system designs, SLD and ensure compliance to specifications.

·       Engage clients from Inquiry till Project commissioning.

·       Ensure the design process complies with all legislations, standards, and codes of practice where appropriate.

·       To collaborate with the Technical and the Project team to develop and implement effective design strategies.

·       Prepares engineering documentation and assists with technical support for licensing and other regulatory proceedings.

·       Ensures procured materials and services meet engineering specifications. 

Requirements:

·       Degree Engineering or equivalent,

·       Minimum 5 years of Energy/related industry experience Preferably Solar IPP

·       Experience in dealing with Engineering and Project execution.

·       Experience with working in Battery Energy Storage Systems or Hybrid Solar Projects is a plus.

·       Strong conceptual skills to customer engagement experience to evaluate various project sales development options effectively and quantitatively in the context of metrics and projections related to project, growth, revenue, competitive positioning and internal solution capabilities.

·       Strong time and process management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and successfully deliver on complex sales projects.

·       Strong and effective communication skills as related to board, partners and investors including strong presentation skills at meetings and conferences.

This role requires a dynamic, well-organized and analytical Senior Finance and Strategy Manager to drive and manage all aspects of the finance function, including corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, accounting, tax and structuring, corporate secretarial duties, management and regulatory reporting, managing all other relevant external stakeholder relations, including banks, regulators and the government.

In addition to leading the accounting and FP&A functions, the candidate will maintaining a complete overview over existing investments and operational businesses. The candidate will also work closely with the CEO and the senior management team of the division to continuously evaluate and develop the investment and operating strategies of the VFT division.

The position will together with the CEO be responsible for, managing external stakeholder relations related to finance and corporate governance, including banks, regulators, investors and other relevant authorities.

This role will be based in Singapore with frequent travel within South-East Asia; and travel to Europe, US and other parts of the world as required.

·        Lead the accounting and FP&A team to ensure that the financial transactions, financial reporting, and forecasting are processed and completed according to standards.

·        Act as VFT’s Senior Finance and Strategy Manager and provide leadership and strategic direction to the business through the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies enabling the business to meet its objectives.

·        Lead and manage all financing, forecasting, accounting and fiscal aspects of VFT’s business operations and activities (including all subsidiaries) and actively assist, plan, and execute strategic initiatives.

·        Build strong working relationship with Senior Management to coordinate, collaborate and align on all financial reporting matters. Coordinate with Management and other BU’s as necessary in relation to group functions including governance, risk management, capital planning and stakeholder management.

·        Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.

·        Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans and contribute to strategic initiatives.

·        Proactive management of capital requirements (debt and equity) and solutions for current and future business scenarios. Support the planning and execution of all capital raising initiatives and all finance aspects of potential divestment/investment or M&A transactions.

·        Directs the preparation of all financial statements, tax returns and other financial information for both statutory and internal review purposes within mandatory required timeframe and otherwise as set by the board and/or CEO. Strong collaboration with Senior Management to maintain the compliance with Company standards.

·        Direct and manage tax advisory and tax compliance activity according to the tax policy in relation to ongoing business, transactions and company structuring activities.

·        Direct and lead a dedicated corporate secretarial team to proactively manage the ongoing governance and future development of the company structure and related corporate secretarial documentation and formalities.

·        Implement the Group FP&A standards and policies.

·        Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and advising on long-term business and financial planning, including review of financial models, deal structures and participation in deal negotiations. Set targets, assess, and evaluate financial performance of organization regarding long-term goals, budgets and forecasts.

·        Provide active cash management and planning for the business and coordinate with corporate treasury.

·        In conjunction with the CEO and the Senior Management, establish and develop relations with external partners/investors and stakeholders in support of ongoing and future business.

The Senior Strategy and Corporate Development Manager is a Singapore based position reporting to the CEO.  The primary responsibility of the role is to lead initiatives related to defining, analysing, articulating (internal and external) and advancing the strategic initiatives of the firm.

This includes but is not limited to capital raises, strategic partnerships and joint ventures (investment, assets, technology), product/business strategy, M&A and market analysis. The Corporate Development & Strategy team will work closely with all other departments of the company to ensure decisions align with operational realities and maximize market opportunity – this role will be the leader of this interaction, information sharing and decision making. The role will also serve an external-facing purpose at conferences and industry events.

This role will be based in Singapore with frequent travel within Asia; and travel to Europe, US and other parts of the world as required.

·        Lead capital raise efforts (equity, debt, project finance and alternative funding) including pitch deck preparation, investor identification, information sharing, due diligence and ongoing investor interaction.

·        Evaluate, define, articulate (internal and external) and adjust corporate strategy and goals based on current and potential direction of the market, competitive landscape, and financial position of the business.
