VFlowTech Participates In “Clean The Seas With SEAS” 2024!

July 5, 2024

On June 29, 2024, VFlowTech participated in the “Clean the Seas with SEAS”, a beach clean-up event at Pasir Ris Beach organised by Sustainable Energy Association Singapore (SEAS). Together, we collected almost 150kg of trash, significantly impacting our environment. Among the litter, we picked up plastic bags, plastic bottles, cans, packaging, glass bottles, several jerry cans, driftwood, large broken boards, fishing nets, a broken broom head, face masks, and various miscellaneous items.

We also had the opportunity to showcase our technology to the public, sharing the potential of vanadium redox flow battery technology as a long-duration energy storage solution.

“Participating in the beach cleanup for the first time was an incredibly rewarding experience. It allowed us to contribute to environmental preservation while building team spirit. Witnessing the positive impact of our efforts firsthand, even in the rain, was truly inspiring and motivating,” commented Nur Aishura, one of our colleagues.

As we continue our endeavors to accelerate the clean energy transition, we aim to give back to the community in other areas of sustainability, such as ocean pollution. We would like to thank Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) for organising this event together with Go Green SG, an initiative by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Singapore.
