For developing Battery Management Systems (BMS): · Define BMS functions, Design hardware architecture, schematics, PCB layout, Select suitable component, device and equipment. · Develop and implement BMS firmware with core algorithms (charging, discharging, SOC/SOH calculations and balancing, etc.). · Develop and debug BMS firmware and perform on-site debugging of energy storage systems. For developing Energy Management Systems (EMS): · Define EMS functional requirements, design overall solutions, and formulate software architecture. · Design system communication, SCADA, power quality regulation, energy metering, and other topological structures. · Develop and implement EMS software system and module testing and conduct overall software integration for energy storage systems. · Build BMS and EMS testing platforms for functional, performance, and reliability testing. · Responsible for researching industry-related products, standards, and technological trends in BMS/EMS, and continuously provide suggestions and improvements for the company’s BMS/EMS technology roadmap. Rishabh leads the Council’s Technology Futures programme at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) in New Delhi. His expertise revolves around critical minerals and renewable energy deployment, supply chain, and manufacturing. Through his work, he has influenced policy design, reform, and adoption. His core strength lies at the intersection of technology and sustainability with a focus on advancing the scale-up of RE projects whilst collaborating with company CEOs, senior government bureaucrats, and leading stakeholders. He has also been supporting various Indian Ministries for the G20 Energy Transition Working Group.
Some of Rishabh’s recent work includes studies on scaling up solar manufacturing, building resilient renewable energy supply chain, tracking green bonds, framing decarbonisation strategies, drafting bioenergy strategies, and developing frameworks for managed (EV) charging to support utilities.
Rishabh completed his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and a Master’s in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). At NUS, he was the recipient of the prestigious Li Ka-Shing scholarship. In the past, he has worked with leading solar module manufacturers, startups, and industry associations.
Debi Prasad Dash is currently working as the Executive Director, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) at Customized Energy Solutions. He has been involved in techno-commercial feasibility, strategy formulation and consulting in emerging technology areas like energy storage, advanced battery, renewable integration, smart grid, electric vehicle infrastructure and microgrids. He is also involved in policy recommendations for the energy storage & EV roadmap for India, manufacturing policy for advanced energy storage technologies and development of ancillary markets in India. He takes the lead in new strategic partnerships and MOVE initiatives of IESA. He is currently part of BIS Energy Storage Standards Committee (ETD-52) and takes active role in policy advocacy to both central & state governments in India. He also leads bilateral partnerships and facilitates market entry for multiple foreign companies to India.
Debi has over a decade of industry experience and alumnus of IGMTP Program by Government of Germany and DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. He was also awarded POSCO ASIA Fellowship by POSCO TJ Park Foundation.
He also serves as non-executive director on 2 non-profit organisations; Forum for the Future Asia, and the Family Business Network Asia (FBNA). Robin is married, is a father of twin boys, who inspire and motivate him to make the planet a better place for future generations.
Daniel Layug, CFA, is a member of the Climate Strategy & Business Development team of the International Finance Corporation. In his role at the IFC, he provides financial and strategic analysis to support the IFC’s industry specialists in Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles, Waste Management, Circular Economy, Hydrogen, Green Buildings, Offshore Wind, Distributed Generation, and Carbon markets.
Prior to joining the IFC, Dan was founder and CEO of start-up PeoplePods. The start-up won 1st place and $100k at Kellogg RE Venture Competition held in Chicago and 1st place and €40k at the INSEAD Venture Competition held in Singapore and France. Prior to this, he worked at ING Bank’s Mergers & Acquisitions team and Maybank ATR’s Equity Capital Markets teams.
Dan has an MBA from INSEAD and undergraduate degrees in Finance and Chinese Studies from Georgetown University. He is currently a member of the Georgetown Angel Investor Network.

| Role Responsibilities: | The Senior Commercial Officer is a Singapore based position reporting to the CEO. The primary responsibility of the role is ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organization. Your role requires a combination of strong technical solution selling skills with strong marketing, sales, channel, and business development skills. As the Senior Commercial Officer, you will take ownership of the customer and the customer interface with the company’s product and service offering, making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives. Sales (Direct & Indirect): · Develop and maintain regional and national channel strategies for distribution, partnership, sales, and installation of VFlowTech – PowerCube products across all customer verticals. · Develop annual sales plans and projections per region and per market verticals. · Develop annual marketing plans per region and per market verticals. · Develop and manage Go-to-Market Strategy and work cross-functionally to define measurable objectives and key results for short- and long-range planning purposes, constantly reporting on metrics and driving transformation by leveraging data. · Support the development and implementation of pricing strategy for VFlowTech. 3. Marketing: · Lead development of a robust marketing strategy with an emphasis on building top of mind awareness, creating brand equity, gaining significant market share. · Build and maintain marketing planning functions of capacity and revenue forecasting, communicating with customers about financing options (working closely with Finance, financing partners and channel partners), and identifying competitive intelligence that support marketing, financial planning and integrated resource planning (IRP) needs. · Determine the omnichannel approach and identify the appropriate media mix and messaging to deliver marketing campaigns to VFlowTech’s customers. · Create opportunities for VFlowTech’s customers, markets, new industry developments and standards to align with and advance business goals. · Develop recurring sector, channel distribution and direct sales focused customer engagement forum with a strategic below the line marketing outcomes. 5. Customer Experience: · Build and operate a state-of-the-art customer centric customer experience processes to ensure every interaction between customers and the organization. · Develop and implement strategies to improve the net promoter score (NPS) of the business. · Lead efforts to broaden the scope of market segments served by VFlowTech, creating marketing flexibility and instilling responsive and timely delivery of VFlowTech products and services. |

| PhD Sponsorship under Industrial Postgraduate Program (IPP): | The Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP) is an initiative by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) to build a pool of postgraduate manpower in Singapore with critical R&D skillsets through training in a corporate R&D environment and local universities. At the end of the training, graduates will take on R&D roles in the industry. Requirements for Students: · Admitted IPP trainee must be full-time employees of VFlowTech (VFT) while pursuing full-time research programmes at NTU (monthly stipend & CPF will be paid) · Trainee is expected to spend at least 50% of the research project activity within the company’s facility. · Trainee will undertake an approved jointly-identified research project (description below), and be supervised by an academic faculty from NTU and a company staff with appropriate research qualifications. VFT has commercialised the batteries for residential and small industrial applciaiton and currently working in developing large scale flow batteries (in MWh’s) to use for large industrial application. This project aims to study the multi parameters in the large scale flow battery development and address the R&D challenges to improve the technology and ensure higher efficiency and long life. Project Topic: Improving the flow battery performance by reducing the various losses in development of multi kW to MW flow batteries. Description of the project: Flow battery uses battery stack modules (5 kW range for VFT), which are connected in series for power scale up. The number of stacks connected in series in one string can vary from 4 to 12. However, due to having electrolyte supplied from the single tank, shunt current impacts heavily reducing the system efficiency and reducing the stack life. There are various approaches used in the industry to minimize the problem but there is no as such preferred solution and the methods are not easily available. Therefore this project will focus on modelling the shunt current leakage in flow batteries and developing methods for reducing or eliminating the shut leakage. In this multi year research the candidate will develop several shunt models and experimentally estimate the losses. Ultimately, few solutions to be developed and implemented in our large products (100 kW -500 kWh system). Apart from this, the research project will focus on designing large tanks (ensuring uniform flow distribution, maximum utilization, eliminating plug flow, etc.), pipings (maximizing the flow distribution, avoid stagnant flow, material research, etc.) together with pumps (horizontal pump, vertical pumps integrated with variable frequency drives), heat exchanger (suited for various weather conditions) keeping the system modular and scalable. While designing and development, the researcher will also be focusing on improving the safety aspect of the flow battery against leak, hydrogen safety, etc. The proposed IPP project will exactly fit to the described project as the problem statement are purely R&D domain and it needs extensive research and developmental work before VFT can successfully commercialise the large batteries in Singapore and globally. |

Role Responsibilities: | This role requires a dynamic, well-organized and analytical financial officer to drive and manage all aspects of the finance function, including corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, accounting, tax and structuring, corporate secretarial duties, management and regulatory reporting, managing all other relevant external stakeholder relations, including banks, regulators and the government.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the design and development of Energy Management Systems (EMS). You should be familiar with PLC, Linux, MCU(Microcontrollers) and Communication Protocols. work scope will involve sensor interfacing and calibrations; programmable relays; communication protocol interfaces; safety and protection standards. You should be required to program in PLC, Python and C language.
You should be familiar with the operation of ESS (Energy Storage Systems) involving optimal charging and discharging performance. You will design control methodology for large battery system, which includes communication with inverter, DCDC converters, relays.
You need to work with electrical engineers and will need to have passion for power engineering and energy flow.
You will be involved in the Development of cloud monitoring systems, GUI in human machine interface (HMI) for different battery products.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in computer/electronics engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in software engineering management and power systems.
Previous work experience on battery technology would be ideal.
Software skills: Embedded Linux, Python, C/C++, Graphical User Interface/HMI programming.
QT/Visual Studio IDE experience
You should have strong and relevant background in software engineering team, EMS, Communication, and cloud development projects.
You should have knowledge of common communication interfaces and protocols, such as RS232, RS485, CAN, TCP/IP, Modbus-TCP, Modbus-RTU, etc.
You should have basic knowledge of electrical power system, such as battery, microgrid, power electronics, renewable energies, etc.
You will be required to travel for business.
