VFlowTech Joins EMA’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Sandbox Pilot

November 4, 2025

At Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2025, Singapore’s Energy Market Authority (EMA) announced the pilot of the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Regulatory Sandbox.

VFlowTech is proud to be an industry partner alongside ERI@N – selected as one of the participants under EMA’s VPP Sandbox initiative – supporting the development of a smarter and more resilient grid.

Energy storage and intelligent software play an important role in enabling flexible and reliable high-renewables power systems. Through our work with vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs) and in-house software solutions (Battery Management System, Energy Management System and Cloud Energy Management Platform), we hope to actively contribute to the VPP sandbox by testing how energy storage can be intelligent assets – providing services like peak-shifting and grid support, contributing to ongoing work on flexibility and resilience in power systems.

Follow our journey as we explore the role of long-duration storage in future power systems.
